Content policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

Anyone can pay to put a message on this board, which is exactly why it needs limits. This page says what is not allowed and what happens when something breaks the rules.

Not allowed

  • Attacks on people. Harassment, threats, or content targeting a private individual. Naming or identifying someone without their consent.
  • Hate. Content attacking people on the basis of religion, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity or nationality.
  • Defamation. Statements of fact about an identifiable person or business that you cannot substantiate.
  • Impersonation. Posting as a person, brand or organisation you do not represent, including using their name, logo or domain.
  • Sexual content, obscenity, and anything involving minors.
  • Illegal goods and services, including drugs, weapons, forged documents, stolen data and counterfeit goods.
  • Financial harm. Scams, fake investment returns, pyramid and multi-level schemes, unlicensed lending, and gambling or betting.
  • Malware and deception. Links to malicious downloads, phishing pages, or any page that misrepresents what it is.
  • Political advertising. Not accepted at present. Election advertising in India carries disclosure obligations we are not yet set up to meet.
  • Private information. Phone numbers, addresses, identity numbers or financial details belonging to anyone.

Review

Posts are checked automatically on submission. Anything that would appear near the top of the board is also reviewed by a person before it is placed, because that is where a post gets the most attention and does the most damage if it is wrong.

If a post is rejected, its payments are refunded in full — see Refunds.

Reporting

Anything on the board can be reported. We aim to acknowledge a report within 36 hours and resolve it within 15 days, in line with our obligations as an intermediary. See Grievance redressal.

Repeat breaches

Accounts that repeatedly breach this policy are blocked from posting. Existing posts stay on record; payments already made are not refunded where the breach was deliberate.
